How you can check our certificates
You can use the certificate number/registration reference and now also the QR code to check the authenticity or validity.
Sometimes a short query to us is enough:
We can explain how the proof was created and what exactly was covered without beating around the bush.
Because in the end, that's what counts: Does the qualification match the assignment?
And this can often be resolved in just a few minutes.
What you get out of it as a participant !
You will work in a practice-oriented way right from the start and learn exactly what is really needed later in your everyday working life.
Recognized qualification
You will receive recognized further training that will improve your chances on the job market and with employers.
Personal support
You will be supported throughout your training, with questions, organization and the next step in your career.
Information
European Commission
The European Commission: this is the Executive of the European Union, the body that ensures that rules are applied uniformly in the EU. It publishes on its Single Market Compliance Spaceportal lists of so-called Notified Bodies (notified bodies) that perform certain testing or assessment tasks.
About the official EU page you can view the following information, for example:
Whether an organization is managed at all
In which country it is listed
Which tasks or activities it may officially take on
Certification Center LTD
Certification Center LTD is an independent certification body based in Riga, Latvia. About the website sertificesana.lv the company informs about its activities in the field of Testing, assessment and certification of specialists and qualifications.
The information on the website and in public overviews shows:
the official name of the organization
the fixed company headquarters
Unique identification numbers
the current status of the approval
This information is important because it shows that it is is not an anonymous or intangible company, but a clearly assigned, registered certification body. Transparency is the be-all and end-all.

Promotion for companies
Our certificates confirm that the Welding Technology Academy a AZAV-certified and audited training provider is. For companies, this means a high degree of security and transparency: our training courses meet recognized quality standards, are state-approved and are based on DVS and ISO standards.
That makes it clear:
Your employees will be trained in a practical, technically correct and current technical and safety-relevant specifications trained.
Welding process
TIG welding is particularly precise and clean. This process is ideal for stainless steel, pipes and thin materials. In the training course, you will learn how to handle the torch and filler material safely and how to control the seam. The training prepares you specifically for the welder's examination in accordance with ISO 9606-1.
TIG (141)
Tungsten inert gas welding
MAG is one of the most widely used welding processes in steel and metal construction. You will learn how to weld sheet metal and pipes and how to create even, resilient seams. The focus is on practice, repetition and typical industrial applications. Preparation is structured according to the requirements of the ISO 9606-1 test.
MAG (135)
Metal active gas welding
In manual metal arc welding, the arc is created directly between the electrode and the workpiece. This process is particularly robust and flexible to use, for example on construction sites or for repairs. You will learn how to set up the arc safely, how to guide the electrode and how to weld properly. The training prepares you specifically for the ISO 9606-1 test.
E-hand (111)
Manual arc welding
What is ISO 9606-1
The welder's qualification test in accordance with ISO 9606-1 is an internationally recognized standard for assessing the practical welding skills of welders. It serves as official proof that a person is able to carry out welding work professionally, safely and in accordance with defined quality standards. In many industrial sectors, this test is an important prerequisite for being employed as a certified welder.
Real working conditions are simulated during the test. The participants produce defined weld seams using a specific welding process, for example TIG (141), MAG (135) or MMA (111). The weld seams produced are then inspected visually and technically. This involves assessing whether the seam quality, dimensional accuracy and finish meet the requirements of the ISO standard. The aim is to ensure that the inspected person can work reliably and in accordance with the standard.
After successfully passing the examination, a welder's certificate is issued. This certificate is usually valid for three years, as long as proof of regular professional activity in the respective welding process is provided. Many companies in the metal construction, plant construction, pipeline construction and industrial sectors require this certificate as proof of qualification when hiring staff or for project assignments.
At the Welding Technology Academy, preparation for the ISO 9606-1 examination is practical and structured. Our participants train under realistic conditions and are specifically prepared for the examination requirements. The subsequent examination is conducted in cooperation with a recognized certification body.
The welding certificate issued complies with international ISO standards and is recognized by many companies in Germany and abroad. This opens up career opportunities for our graduates not only in Germany, but also in other European countries and international projects where work is carried out in accordance with ISO standards.
The ISO 9606-1 examination can be taken or renewed as part of further training for welders as well as for existing skilled workers. It provides a reliable basis for long-term employment, professional development and entry into qualified welding positions.
Is the welder qualification test according to ISO 9606-1 internationally recognized?
Yes, ISO 9606-1 is an internationally valid standard. The welder certificate issued is recognized by many companies at home and abroad. This means that certified welders can be used on national and international projects, provided that the relevant project requirements are met.
Which welding processes can be tested according to ISO 9606-1?
The test can be taken for various welding processes, for example for TIG (141 - tungsten inert gas welding), MAG (135 - metal active gas welding) and manual metal arc welding (111 - manual metal arc welding). The certificate is valid for the tested process and the specified areas of application.
